Close Up: The ‘X’ Banyan Tree

Pohon Beringin (Banyan tree) at our garden. In Bali, Beringin is considered as a sacred tree and can be easily found in a cemetery or temple as a shadowing huge tree.

Its leaves usually used as parts of memukur or spirit purification ceremony. This tree is not huge, not even big, it is only an ordinary little Banyan in a pot.Taken with Sony camera pocket and different point of view.
